Wilmer Guild

The next Wilmer Guild gathering will be an oyster roast hosted by Father John and Sallie West.  The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13th at 4pm.  Tommy Giles Sr. and Tom GIles Jr. will be there to tell football refereeing stories from thier days in the ACC.  So come on out and bring a side dish to share.  If you have any questions, please contact Kathryn Hornbaker.

EYC Pizza party

 All of Emmanuel's youth ages 12-18 are invited to a pizza party on Sunday, Feb. 21st from 5:30-7:00.  Join us for food and fun and bring a friend!

Women's Tea

 Due to inclement weather, the date of the Women's Recognition Tea has been changed to Saturday, February 20th, from 3:00-4:30.  Bring your favorite teacup and your memories of Emmanuel to share.Call the church office to make your reservation.

  • The 150th committee will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 9th at 6:45 in the Lawrence room
  • The Finance committee will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 6:00 in the Lawrence room.

  • The annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16th from 5:30-7:00 in the parish hall.
  • Ash Wednesday services will be held at noon and 7:00pm on Wednesday, Feb. 17th.
  • The deadline for the March Dove Tales is Friday, Feb. 19th. 
  • The Women's Tea originally scheduled for Sat. Feb. 6th has been rescheduled for Feb. 20th, from 3:00-4:30.  Please call the church office to make your reservation.

  • Please join us during Lent for a special program, Healing Through Prayer & Music on Wednesday evenings, beginning Feb. 24th.  The evening will begin with a Rite I service at 5:30 followed by a covered dish dinner at 6:15, and concluding with the program at 6:45.
