Decades of Devotion

Each second Sunday of the month has been designated Decades of Devotion Sunday. For 15 months the parish will celebrate Emmanuel's (15 decades) 150 years of service. On these Sundays a small bit of history from that decade will be shared during the announcement portion of each service. Below are links to the decades that have been presented. Please click on the decade link to read the history of Emmanuel for that decade. New decades will be added each month until all 15 decades have been shared.
The eleventh puzzle piece is a stained glass window which represents the two windows at the back of the church.
The tenth Decades of Devotion puzzle piece is a picture of the Catechetical Tablets on the front wall of our church.
The ninth Decades of Devotion puzzle piece is a picture of our silver bread box.
The eighth Decades of Devotion puzzle piece is the emblem for the Daughters of the King as presented by Barbara Brewer.
