Worship during COVID-19

Our fast from public in-person worship will continue for a while longer. Jesus calls on us to love our neighbors as ourselves and to care for the most vulnerable persons in our world. During this difficult time, your clergy, staff, and church members are working hard to keep us connected and care for our neighbors. On this page, you will find links to resources including social media sites, online worship, and reliable health guidelines.

We like to stay in touch. Sign up to receive our weekly e-newsletter.

Online Worship Opportunities

Visit the online National Cathedral website to join in virtual worship, take a virtual tour, and make creative connections.

Their website offers an extensive schedule of worship services that churches in the Diocese of Virginia are offering online during this time of social distancing.  Opportunities are available each day of the week and are a combination of live worship  and pre-recorded services to watch anytime.

Presiding Bishop Curry invites you to join him each week to take a moment to cultivate a ‘habit of grace.’  Learn how to adjust our lives given the reality of the coronavirus and how to do our part as we all socially distance. A new meditation will be posted on Mondays through May.

You may already know Forward Movement from their Day by Day publications normally available in our sanctuary. Their website offers daily prayer and devotions.
